Printmakers Pop-Up: Holiday Edition (A Virtual Exhibition)

ST. PAUL, MN—NewStudio Gallery, the only Twin Cities gallery offering 3D-visualization Matterport exhibition experiences, announces its first all-virtual show: Printmakers Pop-Up: Holiday Edition. The pop-up exhibition runs Friday, December 10, 2021 through Friday, January 15, 2022, on the NewStudio Gallery website—just in time for holiday shopping.
Invited printmakers include artists from Burlesque of North America, LandLand (Dan Black, Jessica Seamans) and Studio on Fire. The show includes original work from art prints and posters to record packaging and illustration.
NewStudio will hang the show in its gallery, create the 3-D visualization, and post the virtual experience on its website. Visitors can move through the gallery, view the work, zoom in for a closer look, and purchase the work online. The Matterport technology creates a digital twin, or accurate digital copy, of the gallery interior and its contents, including artwork. Matterport is the standard for immersive 3-D space capture. More than panoramic scans, Matterport creates truly interactive 3D models of spaces.
